Ireland Update

I can't believe almost a week has past. I am staying at the last of my castles tonight. Next time I stay at a castle I am bringing a friend. Its just a little too relaxing by myself. I wimped out and went for the automatic suv. Really glad I did there was a horrific rain storm for 24hrs right after I picked up the rent a car. 2 1/2 hrs later I was at Markee Castle. First discovery castles were boring in the rain. Next day was amazing though it was sunny. I went to go see Maeve's grave.
It was a hike straight up 45 minutes though streams and rocks (That was the easy part) Than up incline with no path. The view was amazing. I had a little time to think on the way up and realized I needed my memory card in my camera. Not sure I will be able to show the view. I will have to wait until after the trip to upload my pictures I can't use multiple computers.
From the Markee Castle I went to Ross Castle over in county Meath. It was smaller and remote more like a guest house but when the mistress left she gave me the keys to the castle. So for two days I had the key to the castle. Today I went to the Hill of Tara what an amazing source of divine femine energy. This was created back in the times when men knew they had to answer to their mother because they knew she was in charge. Than she could designate the king. As it should be.
From there I went all the way back to Galway to stay at my last castle and catch the horse races. After that the planned itinery ends. I've decided to give up my car as well and go for
public transportation. I have the desire to pick a coastal town as a home base and explore from
there. Wish you all were here.
